Black History
King Holiday Annual Parade & Program
Each year, the 100 Black Men of the Mississippi Delta, Inc. proudly celebrates the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual Martin Luther King Holiday Parade and Program. This signature event brings together community leaders, educators, youth, and families to honor Dr. King’s vision of justice, equality, and unity.
The program offers a dynamic blend of inspirational speakers, live performances, and thought-provoking discussions that reflect on Dr. King’s teachings and their continued relevance in today’s world. A highlight of the program is the presentation of the King Holiday Community Service Award, given to an individual who exemplifies Dr. King’s spirit through tireless dedication to serving others and advancing positive change within the community. See list here.
This event serves as a powerful platform to reaffirm our shared commitment to uplifting the community, empowering future generations, and championing the principles of leadership, service, and equity that Dr. King so passionately advocated.
Join us as we come together to honor the past, inspire the present, and shape the future. Together, we can continue to bring Dr. King’s dream to life.
